PathCheck SafePlaces is an official app developed and published by the PathCheck Foundation. Its primary purpose is to assist in COVID-19 exposure notification and contract tracing in several jurisdictions including Haiti, Guam, Puerto Rico, and Teton County, Wyoming.

The PathCheck app allows users to discreetly record and store the places they visit on their phones. Users can also subscribe to local Healthcare Authorities to receive up-to-date information regarding COVID-19 in their area.

One of the key features of the app is the ability to receive alerts from local Healthcare Authorities about potential exposure to COVID-19. This helps users stay informed and take necessary precautions.

PathCheck Foundation is a global movement dedicated to developing free, open-source, privacy-focused tools for residents, public health officials, and communities at large. It has emerged from an extensive research collaboration between MIT and TripleBlind, with a strong commitment to protecting user privacy.

The PathCheck Foundation has recently been established as a non-profit organization with the specific mission of supporting the worldwide deployment of the PathCheck app and associated tools for contact tracers and healthcare authorities.

The overarching goal of PathCheck is to contribute to the safe reemergence and reopening of economies and communities. Through strategic partnerships around the globe, we are poised to assist public health officials in their efforts to curb the spread of COVID-19.
